HOW TO ATTAIN USEFUL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS IN AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION AND PLACEMENT?
Years ago, we listened to people talk about agriculture as a comparative advantage of Serbia and the region. An increasing number of people are opting for a career in the agricultural production sector. Many are starting their own entrepreneurial ventures, choosing to produce and sell quality food and agricultural products.
Agriculture, like any other BUSINESS, is the most important thing to ensure a secure, financially sustainable placement. To achieve this, knowledge and skills in the field of management, marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship in a broader sense are necessary.
The Mokra Gora School of Management, with the support of USAID – Project for Competitive Economy, created the first domestic program that encapsulates business management in agriculture (AGRO MBA in international classification).
WHAT DOES THE BUSINESS IN AGRICULTURE PROGRAM OFFER?
First and foremost, the program offers concrete and practical knowledge based on the practices of the best domestic and international companies. Minimum necessary theoretical knowledge with a focus on usable business knowledge and skills that will help you establish a more profitable and faster placement of fruits, vegetables, and wine in demanding foreign markets.
The quality of your products (be they raspberries, blueberries, apple, lettuce, paprika, ajvar, jam, etc.) is at an enviable level, but the challenge lies in the question of how to monetize your investment and work. The task of Business in agriculture lecturers and mentors is to help you understand the constantly changing business environment, to know the standards of quality and safety, to understand the importance of packaging and branding, and above all to understand the interconnected interests of all players in the value chain, from the farm to the shelves.
FOR WHOM IS THE PROGRAM INTENDED?
